USA Visa Waiver Program Information
The Visa Waiver Program allows passport holders from countries to
easily visit the United States for tourism, business or medical reasons. Basic
requirements include a valid passport, arrival via air or sea, and a round-trip
ticket lasting for maximum 90 days.
The countries currently participating in Visa Waiver Program are: Andorra,
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland,
France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia,
Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand,
Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain,
Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
The US government introduced a new prerequisite to the Visa Waiver Program in
2009. Before a traveler can check in, an approved travel authorization (ESTA) is
required. The ESTA application process is only available online, and can be
submitted for processing on this website. Most travel authorizations are issued
the same day and valid for 2 years. You can use an approved travel authorization
to enter the United States multiple times. Once your travel authorization
expires you must obtain a new one. Remember that if you receive a new passport
you must also obtain a new travel authorization.
